Well, i was searching for my Christmas backgrounds and that was the time i came across her blog, i simply loved her honesty and how she shared her life to witness Christ in such a beautiful way.

I loved the verse she keeps quoting in her blog,i would like to write down here

 Matthew 5:15-16 "Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."  

Also loved the following line she says and the verse written.

 

But then I would clarify....there is nothing good in me that I can boast. Who I am today is only because of the grace of God and nothing more. 2 Corinthians 10:17 But, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord." I truly want my life and this blog to be about my boasting in the Lord.

 

Life is really beautiful after knowing Christ is all i want to say.

Chilly Cold Breeze!

Light Blue sky with chilly cold breeze,

I woke up today as usual other days,

But had a smile and a glow on my face,

A month's only left for the Arrival of Christmas !

Birthday of my Savior, Sweetheart Lord Jesus!

What would have happened if he was not born?

How would I managed to live my life free!!!

His coming has made my life so stress free,

Thank you Lord Jesus, for your coming down on earth!

There was no inn, for the coming of my King,

A Humble King was born! Wrapped in a manger,

Joy to this world! And A Hope for the Lost!

Light of this World! A Loving God!

Heaven and Angel singing loudly,

“Glory to the new born King” 

Air is filled with Love! Joy! and Peace! 

Time to celebrate the coming of our Savoir,

With Carols! Santa! Chocolates!

Cribs! and Tasty Cakes!

Card making-New Hobby

When I was a child, I had this habit of making cards painting and putting on my house walls, but it didn’t lasted long, but now that same excitement of painting and making cards has renewed in me and I started enjoying making card,so when I got a chance to show my love to a very dear father, Father Mathew whom I met  recently in a retreat as I was so very touched by his nature of love towards others that I thought of making a card for him.Though it was not that good but was happy that I was able to give him one and thought of making more cards and to improve in card making.

Now this is one new hobby that will make my evenings busy…Will keep posting if I make any card bearable to look at ha ha ha

Year of Faith

Starting from 11^th Oct-2012 to 24^th Nov-2013,I was wondering why the date kept in between and I got the answer in one of the talk given by a priest in our Church during a youth session kept last month. He explained us that  it is the - the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council on 11th October 1962 and completion of 50 years successfully of the same and also the 20th Anniversary of the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and year of Faith ends on 24th Nov-2013 with the Feast of Christ the King.

Logo for year of faith has lot of things to say in itself, in which the image of a ship symbolizes the Church, the mast of the ship is a cross with full-blown sails which form the mark (IHS), and in the background is a sun representing the Eucharist and sun also giving message that Jesus is light of the World. And square represent the World in which our church is the ship sailing in this world.

I wasn’t knowing before that so many things there behind a logo,just by the explanation from that priest I realized the importance of that logo. Hope my faith increase with each new day and of all the people around me too.

Faith I witnessed

As this year is declared as year of Faith from 11^th Oct, few days back I got a chance to Witness one, I went to Bhiloda, a village in District Sabarkantha on 24^th Oct to celebrate the Golden Jubilee which they celebrated beautifully for the completion of 50year of their faith in Christ. 

50 years back in 1962 Father Luis Espasa began to visit the villages around Bhiloda and thus establish the mission at Mankroda-Bhiloda. The annual feast of Our Lady at Mankroda-Bhiloda is kept on Dassera which this year fell on 24 October. Hence that date was chosen to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the birth of Catholic Church in Sabarkantha.It was completion of  50years of faith of Adivasi residing there who got converted into Christians 50 years back, I witnessed the struggle they face in day to day life still how they choose to follow Christ.

The Celebration started with Aarti then the procession with Mother Mary Statue, followed with Grand Mass with many various dances and thereafter ended up with fellow faithfuls get-together and lunch.More than 3000 people came to witness the faith and I was one of them.Here are few click which I took capturing the celebration.

Words i Enjoy...!

This are few words of wisdom I came across and I loved it.Just putting it down,hoping it will be helpful to the someone who reads,here it goes...

• Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.

• A coincidence is when God performs a miracle and decides to remain anonymous.

• Live your life in the manner that you would like your kids to live theirs. 

• You don't have to attend every argument you're invited to. Ha ha ha

• Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps if you are not willing to move your feet.

• Worry looks around. Sorry looks back. Faith looks up.

• Kindness is language we all understand.  Even the blind can see it and the deaf can hear it. 

• The Bible is meant to be bread for daily use, not cake for special occasions.

• Do not look where you fell, but where you slipped.

• A careless word may kindle strife,A cruel word may wreck a life,A timely word may level stress,A loving word may heal and bless.

• Your life may be the only bible some people read.

• Nothing is permanent in this world, not even your troubles.

• The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

• Faith is the tenacity that believes when believing isn't easy and circumstances are hard.

• Happiness is not a destination.  It is a method of life.

• God looks not to the quantity of the gift but to the quality of the giver.

• God still speaks to those who take the time to listen.

• Conscience is that small, still voice that makes you feel smaller.

• Confess your sins, not your neighbor's. ha ha ha ha ha

• Learn to enjoy little things -- there are so many of them.

• Freedom isn't free.  Somebody paid.

• Let your smile change the world, but don't let the world change your smile.
